Transformation was an exhibition concept, based on the idea of transforming older works, ideas or concepts, experiences into new works. The theme was to be interpreted on a wider scale and also relating to (but not limited to) personal experiences of transformations.
Participating in the project was also Tobias Stenbjerg Christensen, Rosh Zeeba and Goshid Rokhzan.
I worked on a transformation of my video work”You too can be great”. I wanted to pick up the sentiments and growing feminism during my younger years and examin how my body (as a a-gender femme) has transitioned through major structural changes in society parallel to the biological and bodily job of becoming a mother.
This resulted in a combined piece called “Den Forklædte” (the disguised). material: Dry Gauze
